     Umberto Eco diz recentemente: 

“O drama da Internet é que ela promoveu o idiota da aldeia a detentor da verdade”.

     Agora pergunto eu: serei eu um idiota?! Não terei eu direito à minha liberdade de expressão da maneira como posso e me sei exprimir?! Ou por ser eu de uma aldeia terei que ser necessáriamente, idiota?!  Acho que é uma frase infeliz e arrogante de um grande escritor, que nunca li, que mete tudo o que 'é da aldeia' na mesma bitola e que demonstra um atentado de opinião (a opinião dele) à liberdade que as pessoas têm de se exprimir da maneira como podem e sabem, e  mais, um atentado ao direito dos mais fracos, que não conseguem ter voz e que a internet lhes permite um pouco mais de liberdade expressiva.
